Improving college access and success
Completing a college degree is still the most reliable pathway to upward mobility. Unfortunately, enrolling in and completing college is daunting for many, especially low-income students and those from marginalized racial and ethnic backgrounds. College financing is confusing and often unfair, leaving many students and families unsure they can afford a college education and some asking whether it is worth it. Admissions policies are opaque and changing rapidly. In this series we discuss these and other issues related to improving access to affordable, quality higher education for all Americans.
