Lan Xue is a nonresident senior fellow in the John L. Thornton China Center of the Foreign Policy program at Brookings Institution. His research focuses on science and technology policies and the impacts of globalization. Xue is dean and professor at the School of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
